Story of a customer with problems

It was ten in the morning on a beautiful summer Sunday when the phone rang.. When responding, I met a somewhat surprised person: «Hello... Sorry to bother you on a Sunday. Actually, I called thinking that no one was going to answer me. "My intention was to leave a message.".

Although on Sundays we rest, I told him to go ahead: «I have my cell phone always operational. What can I do for you?».

When he started telling me, I noticed some stress and anxiety in his voice. It was the owner of a transportation company and, really, I was desperate:

I can't take it anymore. I'm exhausted, I run everywhere and my phone is smoking.. my day should have 50 hours. I have problems with some deliveries, Brexit, truck maintenance, not to mention one that is broken down at the border, And on top of that there is a lack of drivers... All this leaving aside the fact that I have a family and personal obligations., Of course.

The last straw fell on Friday, when my best client called me and told me: «Mira, no you are offended, "But I don't want my product to travel in your DIRTY TRUCK.". That struck a chord with me..

My top priority has always been to offer the best service to my clients and fulfill my commitments to them.. I never thought they would care if the trucks were more or less dirty.

The truth is that all my daily hassles and lack of time have meant that I have never prioritized the issue of cleaning the fleet.. Of course I want my trucks to be clean., but there are more urgent matters, how to arrive on time and attend to what they ask of me. I can't take trucks off the road to wash them or leave one sitting for too long while they clean it..

The next day I showed up at their facilities and met a simple person, close and very active. His company was modern and had a beautiful image; further, It had several pavilions where they also did logistics.

I observed that there was a continuous traffic of trucks loading and unloading, forklifts everywhere, a brutal traffic department and everything technologically very up to date. However, It caught my attention that the fleet of trucks, despite being relatively new and modern, it was very very dirty. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, there was no coherence between the company that had, your image, its modernity, and that neglected aspect of the fleet.

Imagine that you are a transport businessman who works piecework to reach everything and offer the best service to your clients., and suddenly one of them comes and jumps you: "I don't like being associated with trucks as dirty as yours.".

I knew that this terrain was something completely unknown to him., and he would never have discovered it if it had not been for that call from his main client "that broke the camel's back". A few weeks ago, having coffee with a friend (cuando los bares estaban abiertos), le llama su hija que estudia en una universidad que está a una hora y media de San Sebastián.

Su hija le dice: “Papá, ven a buscarme. No quiero ir en autobús.”

Al terminar la conversación, mi amigo comenta que su vida ha cambiado bastante desde que su hija va a la universidad, porque con la pandemia, tiene miedo de coger el autobús. Tiene miedo a contagiarse con el COVID19. "Claudia, estoy muy ocupado y a cada dos por tres tengo que hacer más de tres horas conduciendo para llevarla a la universidad. Estoy cansado y no tengo tiempo para nada."

Todo lo que estaba escuchando me estaba generando impotencia, sensación de disgusto y estaba al borde del enfado. Me dí cuenta al momento lo poco que sabe elusuario finas, como la hija de mi amigo, sobre las empresas de autobuses y autocares. Era mi momento, llevo más de 30 años trabajando con empresas de autobuses y autocares. No podía dejar escapar la oportunidad de dejar las cosas claras a mi amigo.

Respiré hondo y le dije en un tono más que suave,  educativo:

“Mira. Las empresas de autobuses y autocares, clientes y no clientes de JMB, han sido las primeras que se han puesto las pilas con la pandemia. Tú no tienes ni idea del esfuerzo mental, físico y económico que han hecho estas empresas. Yo soy testigo, han sido horas y horas de trabajo duro con un ÚNICO OBJETIVO: que cada persona que entre en sus vehículos viaje SEGURA Y TRANQUILA. ¿Tú qué crees? ¿Que a los dueños, directivos, conductores, mecánicos... de estas empresas les interesa que la gente se contagie dentro de sus vehículos? ¡Por Dios!

“Mira, te comento lo que hacen las empresas de autobuses y autocares para que tu hija viaje tranquila:

Cuando los buses están parados y están en sus instalaciones: Antes de salir, cada uno de los vehículos se le hace una limpieza interior exhaustiva que se remata con la utilización de la desinfección con diferentes productos tales como: biocidas, ozono y otros métodos de desinfección. La limpieza interior se complementa con la limpieza exterior.

Cuando tu hija entra en el autobús todo está desinfectado, incluso el aire. Y los buses, en el caso de muchos de ellos, el aire se renueva continuamente en periodos muy cortos de tiempo para que la calidad del aire en el interior del autobús sea óptima.

Todas estas empresas tienen un protocolo de desinfección y actuación frente al COVID. Me dijo en un tono dealivio: Claudia, no sabía nada de eso”. Le llamó delante mío a su hija y le dijo: “A partir de ahora vienes y vuelves en autobús y punto! ¡No quiero quejas, no quiero excusas!

De un momento a otro, sentí unUfff de tranquilidad en el aire y le comenté:

“En parte entiendo a tu hija, ya que desconoce esta realidad.Es posible que nunca nadie le haya explicado lo que te estoy contando. Es el momento de hacer un cambio radical:

  • En esa imagen equivocada que tienen de una empresa de autobuses y autocares, por desconocimiento
  • En ese miedo generalizado de coger un autobús, por desconocimiento

En tiempos de crisis se notan a los empresarios más previsores y avispados. Sufriendo todavía muchas consecuencias de la última crisis por motivos financieros desde 2008, vivimos ahora una mutación sanitaria, social y económica de la que será, aún, más difícil levantarse.

Se recomienda que no haya nadie en el interior del vehículo durante el proceso, aunque no haya ningún peligro para la salud humana y que el aire acondicionado esté encendido, para que los conductos también reciban el ozono.

El dispositivo es muy manejable, ligero y compacto para su traslado, se puede usar en cualquier vehículo y tantas veces al día como se quiera. No necesita mantenimiento. Esto es lo que le diferencia con otros dispositivos similares, pero de mucha menor calidad y que, con menos potencia, necesitan más horas de fabricación de ozono para una desinfección total. ¿Qué balance hacéis del ejercicio 2019? ¿Cómo esperáis concluirlo? Este año para nosotros ha sido fantástico, porque todo el equipo se ha implicado al máximo y hemos podido ayudar a cientos de empresas de transportes a que sean más productivas en sus procesos de lavado y, así, resultar más atractivas en la carretera.

¿Cuáles son los puntos fuertes de vuestra oferta de monocepillos? ¿Qué ventajas aportan a los profesionales en relación con otros sistemas de lavado? La principal ventaja de los monocepillos de JMB es que están hechos de forma muy personalizada, a medida de cada empresa. Por eso son la mejor opción tanto para las que tienen grandes flotas como para otras, más pequeñas, que buscan un sistema de lavado móvil, compacto, ágil y de alto rendimiento que, further, les suponga el mínimo consumo de agua y de tiempo. ¿Cuáles son sus características más destacadas? ¿Qué acogida le están brindando los profesionales del transporte

El LITIO WASH, el monocepillo que funciona con baterías de litio, ha sido el protagonista absoluto de este año. La verdad es que ha tenido una gran acogida: actualmente hay más de 30 unidades funcionando en el mercado. Gracias a él ahora disponemos de una tecnología rompedora que facilita muchísimo el ritmo de trabajo de las empresas de transportes, y esto significa más rapidez de lavado, más precisión en cada movimiento gracias al exclusivo sistema 4x4 y menos consumo de agua. Además, es silencioso, completamente ecológico (cero emisiones, cero ácidos, cero químicos) y lo mejor: no necesita mantenimiento. Esto supone un gran ahorro diario para nuestros clientes.

 

¿Qué otros productos estáis comercializando en la actualidad?
Aparte de la gama más amplia de monocepillos (híbridos, litio, baterías, diésel, gasolina, eléctricos…), también disponemos de productos complementarios para llevar a cabo la desinfección y limpieza interior de camiones, bus, Autocar, ambulancias y trenes, así como de una división de outsourcing para grandes empresas que buscan externalizar la limpieza de sus vehículos.

¿Qué garantías y opciones de financiación estáis ofreciendo?

Para nosotros, ofrecer un producto y una financiación a medida es algo imprescindible, así que les damos a nuestros clientes la posibilidad de hacer un leasing o un renting (con o sin mantenimiento) y con total garantía, durante un periodo de entre 1 and 5 years, según el producto.

 

¿Cuál es el perfil del cliente de JMB? ¿Sigue creciendo el número de flotas medias y grandes que apuestan por los monocepillos?

Nuestros clientes son diferentes, me explico: son empresarios con mucha visión y una mente abierta que no solo valoran el producto en sí, sino que buscan algo más, por ejemplo que el método de lavado sea sostenible y también respetuoso con las personas. Este plus es lo que aporta JMB. Aparte de disponer de la gama más amplia del mercado en sistemas de lavado de vehículos y contar con la última tecnología, detrás de nuestros monocepillos hay todo un sistema pensado en función de las necesidades del cliente. Gracias a que todo lo que hacemos es a medida, la movilidad y libertad de lavado es total, de manera que nuestros clientes ya no necesitan in-movilizar un vehículo durante mucho tiempo ni reservar un espacio exclusivo para el lavado, puesto que es posible llevarlo a cabo en un espacio muy reducido. Tampoco precisan hacer grandes inversiones en el lavado ni el mantenimiento, ya que es posible adquirir un monocepillo de JMB desde 3,9€ al día.
